An OECD-commissioned project that evaluates current (best) practices of data sharing in research on neurodegenerative diseases using a case study approach. Case studies

This project looked at four case studies (national/international and dementia-specific/cross-conditional) to evaluate current practices in data sharing and challenges.

 

Findings

Findings include insights on current data governance and more deep-seated challenges, based on which next steps and policy recommendations are developed

 

Publications

A report has been published in March 2015, presenting the findings of the four case studies as well as policy recommendations for advancing dementia research globally.

The project was conducted by Professor Eric Meyer, Professor Ralph Schroeder and Ulrike Deetjen of the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford.
